Like any young man, Luis I of Spain (Carlos Scholz) is about to experience major changes. He is married off to an unknown cousin and is set to inherit the Spanish throne. In the 18th century, this would be a joyous event for any prince, but things won’t be easy for Luis. With his rebellious wife, Luisa Isabel of Orléans (Alicia Armenteros), his deranged father, Philip V (Javier Gutiérrez), and his scheming stepmother, Elisabeth Farnese (Leonor Watling), Luis I must begin his reign. Fortunately for him, his troubles will soon come to an end.
